Watertown, Mass.­The latest generation of Staticworx EC Rubber, the industry’s first electronically conductive rubber flooring product, recently received the Seal of Approval, awarded by ESD Journal, as the only fault-tolerant flooring suitable for Class-0 ESD (electrostatic discharge) applications. In addition, MIT Laboratories recently determined that Staticworx EC Rubber is the only static-resistant product that successfully inhibits static generation regardless of footwear. EC Rubber now features a modification in carbon chip density to enable to lowest static generation properties of any anti-static flooring available. The product meets all domestic and international industry standards, including NFPA 99 (healthcare), ANSI/ESD S20/20, ANSI/ESD S97.1 (system resistance), ANSI/ESD 97.2 (body voltage generation), DOD 4145.26-M (munitions handling), and NASA-grade, clean-room requirements. In addition, Staticworx EC Rubber is an earth-friendly alternative as it is California 1350 Indoor Air Quality Certified and can contribute toward LEED Indoor Environmental Quality Credits for Low-Emitting materials.
